A New OSCreative thinking certainly gives impetus to new technology; however, new innovations are not without downsides. I appreciate Matt Hartley’sbalanced appraisal of the OS of tomorrow, as he perceives. This new OS will be like your mirror image in thinking process, and you need not to astonish if your PC procure you what you need without any manipulation.

What I discerned from the article is if you allow your PC to roll into adaptive mode, it would use your past responses to decide your further courses, actions and needs. For example, Brand X OS’ new probability engine will alert you only to those e-mails that the OS knows will be critical. However, if you do not want to be disturbed by the unnecessary e-mails, it will stop them.

Matt Hartley:

Consider what it would be like if you discovered that all of the daily work habits that you “taught” your PC were somehow stolen from a company who was using it for marketing research.

This comment cautions us that nothing in life is free and for more sophisticated technology we have to pay some price, but hope this new thinking actually gives way to new solutions.
