NVIDIA has just launched its highest end Quadro graphics cards. The company has launched three new products the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600, Quadro FX 5600 and Quadro Plex VCS Model IV.
The company claims that the cards will offer the best performance of all the cards available in the market.
These monster cards offer an equivalent of 128 1.35GHZ processors that crank away graphics in a whole new way.
The cards also make use of a technology called GP-GPU allowing them to run general purpose instructions along with graphics and ease the burden on the CPU.
The company has aimed these cards at high-end film effects artists and oil and gas explorers.
The Quadro FX 4600 will retail for $1,995 and the Quadro FX 5600 will go for $2,999. The company has not released the price of the highest-end Quadro Plex VCS model IV.
