Till now many graphics designers are delaying the purchase of new Intel Based Mac Computers as there is not a single good graphics utility released which can serve the Intel based Mac Computers.

Apple and Intel have both stated that the delay in the adoption of the systems is because the professional graphics designers are waiting for Adobe to release Creative Suite for the Mac OS X systems.

Adobe has stated that the designers will have to wait at least till the spring of 2007 for the release of Creative Suite 3.0.

Like every third party software developer Adobe was taken by surprise when Apple claimed in 2005 that they will be shifting from PowerPC to Intel Processors due to which there was not enough time for the software developers to make their tools available for the new system.

Adobe also concluded that instead of re-releasing the Creative Suite 2.0 with some changes so that it can adapt to the new system they planned a totally new version of the suite which the code named ‘Banana Split‘, that is Creative Suite 3.0. This step will give the software developer ample time to integrate the latest technology in the tool.

Adobe is planning to release a public beta version of Creative Suite 3.0 later this month, this will surely satisfy some 3 million graphic designers who are eagerly waiting for the tool’s release.

Adobe has not yet commented on the features of the new product but it will integrate Dreamweaver, which Adobe acquired from Macromedia last year. This integration will replace GoLive as the primary web authoring application.

The final version of the application will be released some time in the Spring of 2007 but for the time being the release of the beta version will surely satisfy the greed of the designers for some time and will also boost the sales of Intel based Mac PCs.
